As per my knowledge, Wet cleaning was introduced in Europe by a person called Mr Arnold. The first company to introduce wet cleaning was Electrolux. They patented the name lagoon for it. It all depends on which garments we are dealing with. If it’s a natural fibre we will use neutral detergent and if it’s a dry cleaning garment we will use acidic detergent.
